In the bottom view of 48" wide sections you will note the wooden slats running the lengthwise direction of the dock sections. Many competing brands will simply power nail these slats in place. In the Presto Dock system these slats are secured with screws. This method of assembly will help to insure that your dock remains flat over the years.
